What is VOSM Academy Certification?
VOSM Academy certification encompasses training programs and treatment protocols designed to promote the highest level of care in veterinary sports medicine, rehabilitation therapy, and regenerative medicine. These comprehensive training programs and protocols are shared through on-site instruction and remote learning opportunities. Once the facility or practitioner have met the standards outlined by VOSM Academy, the facility or practitioner can then use the skills and knowledge learned to help treat your animal. VOSMA certification is routinely updated with new protocols and knowledge as the field of veterinary medicine continues to grow.

The VOSMA certification program refers only to specific treatments and protocols in the areas of veterinary sports medicine, veterinary rehabilitation therapy, and veterinary regenerative medicine.

What is a VOSMA Certified Facility?
A VOSMA Certified Facility is a veterinary practice or clinic that has met the prerequisites outlined by VOSM Academy in its knowledge, practice of diagnostic and treatment protocols, clinician and staff proficiency, and the tools used to care for your animal. Each VOSMA Certified Practice actively employs at least one individual that meets the VOSMA standards, and has a further committment to expand such knowledge and treatment to its staff and facility.

What does VOSMA certification mean for your animal's care?
VOSM Academy Certification provides your pet with access to practitioners and staff who have received additional training in veterinary sports medicine, rehabilitation therapy, and regenerative medicine treatment options and protocols developed by VOSM Academy. Additionally, VOSMA Certified Facilities have access to the network with other VOSMA Certified Facilities for consulting on your pet's care and treatment, access to further training as new treatments become available, and participation in multi-center studies and clinical trials as they are accepting new patients.

The VOSMA Certification program aims to provide advanced training for practitioners and facilities across the U.S. and around the world to further the field of veterinary medicine. The program has currently provided training for veterinarians in five countires, and hopes to continue to grow!
